Permits required for a solar power plant


Many developers, entrepreneurs are interested in setting up solar PV plants these days. One of the most pertinent query from them is   the permits required from nodal agencies for setting up their plants. We thought we should make their lives bit easier.

Pollution/Waste disposal Pollution control board Consent to Operate and Consent to establish The project developer should indicate to the pollution control board the location (Tehsil, Village and District as applicable) of its proposed project. As per the notification by MOEF dated 13/05/2011, all solar PV plants are not covered under MOEF EIA notification 2006, and no environment clearance is required for such projects.Recommendation letter from RRECL/in principal clearance from RRECL
